Our Program

Passion for Life Inc. Program

Passion for Life, Inc. after school program has created an environment and atmosphere that encourages dream building and thinking outside of the box. Passion for Life is a learning center that turns students’ dreams into achievements. We understand that not all students are suited for college, however are very talented and gifted. We take a unique and proactive approach to ensure the success of students, especially students that do not meet college criteria.

Our hands-on approach embodies Benjamin Franklin’s quote Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn”. Our students are active participants in their passion and career discovery process and we are there with every step of the way.  Our core principles guide their discovery and development process. Each student experiences the following:

Executive Style Life/Career Coaching and Exploration

Students participate in one-on-one and group coaching to identify their passions, talents and gain self-awareness of personal characteristics.

Leadership Development

This component of the curriculum provides students with an interactive business leadership education to empower and equip them to become powerful and effective business leaders.

Talent Development

To complement career exploration and business leadership the students participates in foundations of business and entrepreneurship and business projects. The students also attend specialized programs and camps specific to their career interest and skill level to enhance their exposure to their industry of interest and to develop their talents.

Dream Building

Students are exposed to successful lifestyles to help ignite their vision to build their dreams. The students participate in the rewards of success such as personal home tours, unique hobbies, etc.

Exposure is a key part of our process to reach the students. We are firm believers that exposure is the difference between success and failure. We define exposure as “showing them the possibilities”.

Passion For Life Career Coaches Career Coaches are volunteers who donate their time and talent to support Passion For Life’s high school students. As a nonprofit organization  driven by passion it is important that we review potential Career Coaches to ensure that there is a good match between their skills/talents and that of our students. However, it is just as important for potential career coaches to feel valued by Passion For Life and feel confident that their time and talent is used efficiently.

Passion for Life, Inc. provides a unique opportunity for our Career Coaches to work with some of Metro Atlanta’s most talented high school students.
