We serve high school students, male and female, ages 14-18, living in economically disadvantaged, high risk environments who demonstrate the passion, drive, vision, and risk taking to success. We want to train and develop students who possess characteristics of a leader.
The average household income of a Passion for Life, Inc. student is $25,000 per year. These are single parent or grandparent guardianship homes. Our students face external factors such as crime, drugs, and caregiving of siblings to support their parents. This makes it difficult for them to see the possibilities of becoming successful and certainly do not have access to resources to move beyond their circumstances.
